The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has fined and banned Hearts of Oak SC assistant coach, Abdulai Gazale, as part of efforts to maintain discipline and curb misconduct in Ghanaian football.

The sanction follows an incident involving the Hearts of Oak assistant coach during a Ghana Premier League match against Medeama SC earlier this month in Tarkwa.

After appearing before the GFA Disciplinary Committee to answer charges of misconduct, Mr. Gazale was found guilty of assaulting a ball retriever during the match.

Consequently, the Disciplinary Committee imposed a fine of GHS 5,000 on the Hearts of Oak assistant coach and handed him a three-match ban from the touchline.

According to the Committee, the suspension takes immediate effect, meaning Mr. Gazale will be barred from the technical area during Hearts of Oak’s next three competitive matches.
