Kuami Eugene has emphatically rejected claims that his music career has slowed down since his departure from Lynx Entertainment, dismissing such assertions as inaccurate and misleading.

In a discussion with Giovani Caleb on Showbiz 360 on TV3, the artist stressed that his recent accomplishments are a testament to his continued success, noting that some of his most popular songs were released after leaving the label.

“To be honest, I rarely encounter such comments nowadays, given that ‘Belinda’ was released after I left Lynx Entertainment. Additionally, ‘Monica’ was also released subsequent to my departure from Lynx, rendering such claims unfounded. ‘Do Better’ has garnered over a million views, with most of my released songs surpassing the million-view milestone. These songs are indeed making significant waves in the industry.”

Kuami Eugene also underscored his robust presence in the performance circuit, particularly during the festive season, noting that he was booked for nearly every major show in December.

“I performed at virtually every show this December. I was ubiquitous,” he stated.

Kuami Eugene firmly believes that the perception of his struggling career is a misconstrued narrative perpetuated by certain individuals, rather than a reflection of reality.

He maintained that he is faring well musically and remains grateful to God for his success.

“People just create narratives and make it seem like things aren’t going well. I don’t know if I’m supposed to knock on doors to tell them anytime I release a new song. But it’s actually been very good, and I give all the glory to God.”
