The exercise encompasses the entire route from Santasi Roundabout to Ahodwo Roundabout. ‘All signages and billboards installed along the stretch from Santasi Roundabout to Ahodwo Roundabout must be removed by November 30, 2025.’

Moreover, ‘all temporary structures situated along the Santasi Roundabout to Ahodwo Roundabout corridor are to be removed by November 30, 2025.’

According to the KMA, the move forms part of preparatory works for the construction of a dual carriage road under a partnership between the Government of Ghana and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The project is expected to improve traffic flow, enhance urban aesthetics, and boost economic activity within the Kumasi metropolis.
