Temi Otedola, daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, has opened up about her decision to take her husband Mr Eazi’s surname on social media — a move many thought she would never make given the weight of her family name.
In an interview with BBC News Pidgin, Temi said the choice felt natural after marriage and was rooted in personal conviction.
“To be honest, it wasn’t something I had thought about before. But when I became a married woman, the obvious thing for me was to take my husband’s name. It’s my personal choice, and I respect everyone’s choice. It’s what I’m comfortable and happy doing,” she explained.
The actress and fashion influencer tied the knot with Afrobeat star Mr Eazi in a widely celebrated wedding earlier this year, with fans still swooning over their fairytale union.
