Shaxi will soon emerge as Kumasi’s leading ride-hailing app, and I will contribute 20% of the proceeds to Manhyia Palace – Shatta Wale

Spread the love

Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has pledged to donate 20% of the proceeds from his ride-hailing service, Shaxi, to the Manhyia Palace in support of education and healthcare initiatives in the Ashanti Region.

Shatta Wale recently expanded the operations of his ride-hailing service, Shaxi, to Kumasi. The official launch of Shaxi in Kumasi followed the brand’s sponsorship of Sarkodie’s “Homecoming” Rapperholic concert, held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on September 27, 2025.

Following his performance at the event, Shatta Wale posted a photo of himself on stage on Facebook with the caption: “In due time, Shaxi will emerge as Kumasi’s leading ride-hailing app, and I will donate 20% of our proceeds to the Manhyia Palace to support schools and hospitals in the region.”

Additionally, he thanked Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and his Kumasi fans for their unwavering love and support.

“The love is too much, the support is too much. I thank you OTUMFUO OSEI TUTU II… I bow my King,” he stated.
