Akwatia by-election: Vote massively for Asumadu – Bawumia rallies support for the NPP candidate

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Former Vice President, has returned to the Akwatia Constituency to campaign for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate ahead of the by-election on Tuesday [September 2].

Dr. Bawumia attended the one-week observation of the late NPP MP, Ernest Kumi, in the constituency on Friday.

Two days later, he returned to conduct grassroots campaign activities in support of the party’s candidate. Church visitations commenced the day, with Dr. Bawumia introducing the NPP candidate to congregants and urging their support.

As part of the campaign tour, Dr. Bawumia and the candidate paid a courtesy call on the Kusiman Hene, Nana Ntiamoah Kusi Boadu. Dr. Bawumia later interacted with residents across several communities, appealing for their votes.

He emphasized the importance of voting massively for Asumadu, highlighting that this would enable him to continue the good works and legacy of their late MP, Ernest Kumi.
