The Department of Urban Roads in the Ashanti Region has announced a temporary closure of a section of the Sofoline Interchange to facilitate repair works.
According to the Department, the ramp connecting the Sofoline Terminal to the Santasi Roundabout and Patasi will be closed to traffic from Wednesday, September 3, to Friday, September 19, 2025.

Motorists heading towards Patasi, the Santasi Roundabout, and nearby areas have been advised to utilize alternative routes and follow the directional signs provided at the interchange.
The Department further emphasized the need for all motorists to adhere strictly to the traffic management measures implemented during the repair period to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused,” the Department stated in a notice signed by Surv. Na-em Iddrisu, Regional Director of Urban Roads.
