Sarkodie didn’t ignore my calls when I needed a feature – Gospel musician Obaapa Christy says

While some artistes claim Sarkodie can be hard to reach for features, gospel star Obaapa Christy says her experience was the complete opposite.

In an interview with Nana Romeo, Obaapa Christy revealed that after recording her new single “Odeneho”, she felt inspired to feature Sarkodie. From her base in Germany, she placed a WhatsApp call to the rapper — and he picked up immediately.

“When he picked up, I sent the song and he told me I’d hear from him soon,” she said.

Obaapa Christy shared that Sarkodie didn’t hesitate to add his verse, telling her he already had the lyrics and was just waiting for the perfect time to record.

“True be told, it didn’t last long… He said this is the perfect time, and after that I became so relaxed,” she added.
