The Asanteman Council has officially welcomed Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III as the newly enstooled Offinsohemaa, marking a significant milestone in the region’s traditional leadership.
The elaborate ceremony, held at the Manhyia Palace, was attended by prominent traditional leaders, government officials, and dignitaries. Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, presided over the enthronement ritual.
Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III, a respected figure in the Offinso community, was presented with traditional symbols of office, including a sacred stool and staff.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II praised Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III’s wisdom and integrity, expressing confidence in her ability to promote peace and development in Offinso.
“The Asanteman Council is pleased to recognize Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III as the legitimate Offinsohemaa,” said the Asantehene. “We expect her to unite our people and foster progress.”
Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III pledged to work tirelessly for the betterment of Offinso, emphasizing education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.
“I am humbled by this honor and commit to serving our community with dedication and selflessness,” she stated.
The Offinsohemaa’s enthronement is seen as a significant boost to the region’s traditional governance and development initiatives.
