Ghana Olympic Committee Meets Sports Minister

The leadership of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has met with the Minister for Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Iddie Adams, to present a comprehensive four-year strategic plan (2025–2029), aimed at a sustainable sports success.

The meeting served as both a policy briefing and a status update on preparations for upcoming international assignments, including the Youth Olympics, the 2026 Commonwealth Games and the 2027 All African Games.

The Minister has challenged the GOC to ensure transparency in Team Ghana’s preparation and Get Ghana Gold in the upcoming events.

He hinted that the Government is fully committed to making sports an economic enabler.
