Mahama Swears-In Heads of Fire and Immigration Services

President John Dramani Mahama has presided over the swearing-in ceremony of Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong as the substantive Chief Fire Officer and Samuel Basintale Amadu as Comptroller-General of the Ghana Immigration Service at the Presidency.
The ceremony formally inducted the two officials into their respective roles, tasked with leading the Ghana National Fire Service and the Ghana Immigration Service.
As Chief Fire Officer, Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong will be responsible for fire prevention, public safety education and emergency response operations nationwide.
Samuel Basintale Amadu, as Comptroller-General of the Ghana Immigration Service, will oversee border management, migration control and the enforcement of immigration laws.
President Mahama instructed the newly sworn-in officials to perform their duties with professionalism, integrity, and dedication to national service.
Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sapong was appointed Chief Fire Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service on March 24, 2025, making her the first female occupant of this esteemed position.
Before her appointment, Ntow Sapong served as Deputy Chief Fire Officer and Director of Fire Safety, distinguishing herself through exceptional leadership and dedication.
Samuel Basintale Amadu was appointed Comptroller-General of the Ghana Immigration Service in March 2025.
