NSA reopens registration portal and announces one-week final window to address challenges

The National Service Authority has announced the reopening of its registration portal for a final one-week period, effective Monday, December 15, 2025.
This extension is a response to numerous appeals from personnel who have yet to complete their validation and have not received postings.
At a press conference on Monday, December 15, 2025, the Director General of the National Service Authority, Ruth Dela Seddoh, clarified that only personnel who submitted reposting requests due to rejection from institutions and those yet to complete regional validation due to genuine difficulties are eligible for this reopening.
The registration portal will remain open until Monday, December 22, 2025. To ensure that no one is hindered by the weekend, Saturday, December 20 has been added as an additional day of access to facilitate the process.
As Ms. Seddoh noted, “This is not an opportunity for new registrations. It is a final window to rectify outstanding issues. After December 22, 2025, the portal will be permanently closed for the 2025/2026 service year in preparation for the deployment of Nurses, which will commence at the end of December.”
The National Service Authority emphasized that the closure of the registration portal is essential as the Service moves into the final phase of preparation for the deployment of the next set of personnel.
The Authority urged all eligible individuals to use this final opportunity judiciously.
The reopening of the registration portal follows a closure on December 12, 2025.
The 2025/2026 National Service Year officially began on November 3, 2025 with thousands of personnel reporting for duty across the nation. The registration and validation process were initially scheduled to end on November 21 but was extended for a month to December 12.
However, following some persisting challenges and a further review, the Authority has given a one-week extension.
