“I don’t do fraud” – Shatta Wale fires back at scam allegations at BYK concert

Award-winning dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has publicly dismissed allegations linking him to fraudulent activities.

During his performance at the BYK Concert at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 13, 2025, the musician paused mid-performance to address the claims.

While performing “Prove You Wrong,” Shatta Wale insisted that his success comes strictly from hard work, consistency, and music, not illegal dealings.

He strongly denied any involvement in fraud, declaring before the crowd that he stands clean before God and would curse anyone falsely accusing him.

His comments come amid heightened social media speculation following recent FBI and EOCO arrests connected to online fraud and romance scams, which have fueled indirect links to some public figures.
