I’ve given up on friendships – Mzbel speaks on deep betrayals

Veteran musician Mzbel says she has completely withdrawn from close friendships after repeated experiences of betrayal.

Speaking on Aluta FM with Fiifi Pratt, she revealed that people she once trusted secretly recorded private conversations only to use them against her later.

Mzbel noted that she now avoids casual chats and only responds to people when the conversation is important.

According to her, opening up to others has become risky because such recordings are often weaponized during fallouts.

“I’ve given up on friendships,” she stressed, adding that while she remains polite and friendly in public, she no longer keeps personal friends.
