I won’t be disappointed if there is no heaven – Diana Hamilton

Award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician Diana Hamilton has revealed that she would not feel disappointed if it turns out that heaven does not exist.
Speaking in an interview on Okay FM on November 17, 2025, the celebrated singer explained that her sense of fulfillment comes from living a life that aligns with the teachings of Christ.
According to her, even if heaven were proven not to exist, she would still be content knowing she lived a Christ-like life.
“No, I won’t be disappointed if there’s no heaven because I would have lived the life that Christ asked me to, and I will be fulfilled that I’ve done everything I’m supposed to do. How I’m not guilty of anything now is enough for me. But I believe and have hope that there’s heaven.”
Despite her hypothetical reflection, Diana Hamilton stressed that she firmly believes in life after death. She explained that the wonders of creation and the complexity of the world deepen her conviction in God’s existence.
She also shared personal experiences from her travels, noting how time differences across countries reflect the mystery of God’s nature.
“I believe that there’s life after this life. The kind of things that go on in this life… When you go to Australia and you would still doubt there’s God, then I don’t know what else could convince you.”
Recounting a specific moment, she described the experience of communicating with her husband while travelling from Australia to the UK:
“It was Saturday in the UK where my husband was, and Sunday where I was at the time. Does it make sense? When we are celebrating Christmas, Australians are already celebrating New Year.”
