Female Naval Officer Set For 3.1Km Swim From Busua Beach to Abokwa Island

A naval officer has announced a 3.1-kilometre swim to support the Chief of Defence Staff’s fundraising initiative for a school for special needs children of Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) personnel.

AB2 Akutor Sarah will embark on the swim on Friday, November 21, 2025, from Busua Beach to Abokwa Island in the Western Region.

She also seeks to empower women to take up swimming and showcase their endurance and resilience.
