I’m more than an Azonto artiste; I’m ready for the global stage – Gasmilla

Ghanaian musician Gasmilla says he’s ready to step beyond the “Azonto” tag and take his craft to the global stage.
Speaking on 3FM with Blakk Rasta, he revealed that he has either produced or co-produced about 90% of his songs, describing himself as “a musician through and through.”
“One thing people don’t know is that most of my songs, about 90%, I produced or co-produced myself. I’m a musician through and through,” he said.
Gasmilla explained that he is breaking free from restrictive labels that have boxed him as a Ga or Azonto artiste, noting that he has the versatility to compete internationally.
“Whenever the Gasmilla conversation comes up, it’s only when they talk about Ga artistes. But I know within myself that I’m bigger than that. It’s time to take the gloves off and compete globally,” he declared.
He expressed confidence that his fans will support his new creative direction, adding that he wants to showcase Ghanaian culture while connecting with the world.
“There’s no box. I just want to take over the world with Ga, with English, with everything,” he affirmed.
