The National Service Authority (NSA) announces the opening of online registration for the 2025/2026 service year on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, and its subsequent closure on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

This announcement is made pursuant to a directive from President John Dramani Mahama following a Technical and Forensic Audit of the previous Central Service Management Platform (CSMP), which found the system to be unsatisfactory.

As a result, the Authority was tasked with designing and deploying a more robust digital platform to ensure transparency, security, and real-time verification.

In a statement, the Authority declared that all registrations completed in June 2025 are null and void, directing all prospective personnel to re-register. This decision was prompted by data integrity concerns, including discrepancies in ages, detected in the earlier process.

The National Service Authority (NSA) has given assurance that all legitimate registrants from the June exercise will receive refunds of their service fees.

The NSA has invalidated all previous registrations from June 2025, necessitating all prospective service personnel to re-register on the new platform. Step-by-step guidelines for online registration will be available on the NSA’s new website, www.gnsa.gov.gh, from Tuesday, October 7, 2025. The NSA has also implemented rigorous IT reforms and internal controls aimed at combating payroll fraud and ensuring timely payment of allowances.

The NSA is collaborating closely with the Controller and Accountant General’s Department to strengthen financial oversight and will conduct regular efficiency checks.

All national service personnel are expected to report to their assigned service stations on Saturday, November 1, 2025, with the service year officially commencing on Monday, November 3, 2025.
