Health Ministry to address salary arrears, staffing challenges on Wednesday

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, the Ministry of Health (MoH) will host a media engagement to address concerns surrounding unpaid salaries and related human resource issues within the health sector.

Scheduled to commence at 9:00 a.m. at the Ministry of Health premises in Accra, the engagement aims to provide clarity and updates on challenges affecting health workers’ remuneration and staff welfare matters.

The session will also provide an opportunity for the media to seek explanations and engage officials directly on steps being taken to resolve the issues.

The Ministry has extended an open invitation to all media houses, encouraging their participation in the discussion to ensure transparency and effective dissemination of information to the public.
