Hundreds of concerned parents and students gathered at GNAT Hall in Accra on Tuesday, September 23, to protest issues surrounding the 2025 BECE placement process.

The crowd, frustrated by delays, mismatched school assignments, and a lack of clear communication from the Ghana Education Service, demanded immediate answers and transparency.

The situation prompted the deployment of security personnel to manage tensions, while GNAT officials assured attendees that the matter would be addressed.

The placement system, which allocates students to senior high schools based on performance and preference, has faced growing scrutiny, with today’s turnout reflecting widespread dissatisfaction and calls for reform.
