E/R: Angry youth burn down Kukurantumi Police station over death of suspect in custody

Tensions have intensified in Kukurantumi, a town in the Abuakwa North Municipality of the Eastern Region, following the alleged death of a suspect in police custody.

In response, outraged youth stormed the Kukurantumi Police Station and set it on fire.

The incident has generated widespread outrage among residents, who are demanding accountability from the police regarding the circumstances surrounding the suspect’s death.
