I won’t marry again; my previous wedding was overhyped, I knew it wouldn’t last – Patapaa Amisty discloses

Controversial Ghanaian musician Patapaa has sworn off marriage following the collapse of his union with German-Turkish content creator Liha Miller.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on OKAY FM on September 18, 2025, Patapaa stressed that he is content without a wife and does not believe marriage should be treated as a necessity.

“I don’t think there is a marriage in heaven, therefore I will not marry again. We shouldn’t make marriage compulsory because there is a spirit in marriage. When people are not married, the couples look happy, but right after the wedding, arguments and anger come in,” he said.

Patapaa further alleged that his marriage to Liha Miller was never built to last, claiming it was driven by publicity rather than genuine love.

“My wedding was for hype. So from the onset, I knew that it was not going to stay for long,” he added, suggesting his ex-wife was more interested in fame than their relationship.
