Goldstars’ CAF Champions League opponents JS Kabylie arrive

JS Kabylie, Algerian football giants, have landed in Ghana for the first leg of the preliminary round against Bibiani Goldstars SC, champions of the Ghana Premier League.

The two teams will clash at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, September 20. This match will be the Ghanaians’ first foray into CAF Inter-club competitions.

JS Kabylie, on the other hand, boast an impressive record, having won the CAF Champions League twice, in 1981 and 1990, and finishing second in the Algerian Ligue 1 last season.

The Ghanaians will be counting on the experience of some players including Vincent Atinga for a breakthrough.

The second leg is scheduled to be played on Friday, September 26.
