Gov’t sets plan to merge Airtel Tigo with Telecel Ghana for stronger Telecom Sector

The Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations has confirmed plans to merge AT Ghana (formerly AirtelTigo) with Telecel Ghana.
According to the Ministry, the move is aimed at creating a stronger and more sustainable telecom operator capable of competing effectively in Ghana’s fast-evolving digital space.
