Black Queens forward Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah has formally signed a two-year contract with Nottingham Forest women’s team, marking a significant milestone in her club career following a successful stint at London City Lionesses.

The 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations standout completes the transfer from the WSL2 champions during the summer window, eager to make an impact in England’s top flight.

Nottingham Forest welcomed Boye-Hlorkah with an announcement highlighting her pivotal role in London City Lionesses’ promotion season, where she notched six crucial goals, including a decisive header on the final day that secured the title against Birmingham City.

The club has high expectations that her outstanding goal-scoring ability and key experience will bolster their attacking options as they continue to build momentum. Speaking after signing,

Boye-Hlorkah expressed her eagerness about joining Nottingham Forest and being part of a squad with a remarkable recent season.
