Ghana records 18 new Mpox cases, total now 346

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced 18 new cases of Mpox, bringing the total number of recorded infections in the country to 346.

The death toll remains steady at one, with no additional fatalities reported and no current hospital admissions.

In its latest update on August 7, 2025, the GHS urged the public to remain cautious, avoid close contact with individuals exhibiting symptoms, and promptly report any suspected cases to the nearest health facility.

The Service is working closely with its regional directorates to trace contacts and coordinate the national response.
