“It took me 10 years to give birth again after losing my first child,” – Mama Esther shares her ordeal

Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician Mama Esther has opened up about a painful ordeal she endured in the early stages of her marriage.

In an interview, she revealed that it took her 10 years to conceive after losing her first child. She recounted a strange dream that seemed to foretell her struggles.

“I had a dream after I lost one of my children. In the dream, I saw that I was in labour and someone was asking me to push my baby out. After I had given birth, I saw the person running away with everything. I then asked her to give me my baby, and she laughed at me, saying that I had taken your womb away. And that I won’t give birth again,” she narrated.

According to Mama Esther, she initially dismissed the dream because she already had a baby, but later realized it was manifesting in her life. She also revealed that her child loss and inability to conceive for a decade sparked damaging rumors.

“Some people accused me that after giving birth to two in a span of two years, I went to tamper with my womb. Some even said that I went to change my womb so I can give birth to a lot of children, and that didn’t go in my favour,” she said.

Despite the hardship and speculation, the celebrated gospel musician testified that it was only through “the grace of God and constant prayers” that she was finally blessed with another child after ten years of waiting.
