Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of former Nania FC defender Daniel Adrian Adjetey on a one-and-a-half-year deal. The 24-year-old versatile defender, who has previously played in Denmark’s Division 2 and Latvia’s top flight, brings a wealth of international experience to the Porcupine Warriors.
Adjetey’s signing is seen as a direct replacement for injured Emmanuel Kotei, with Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum citing the need for a reliable defender. Adjetey’s defensive solidity and attacking support will undoubtedly be an asset to the team.
The defender began his career in Ghana with Nania FC, where he honed his skills and established himself as a dependable right-back. His international experience includes stints with Naestved in Denmark’s Division 2 and BFC Daugavpils in the Latvia top flight.
