The First Lady of Ghana has unveiled the renovated Ga Traditional Council Building, a state-of-the-art facility blending cultural heritage with modern design.
The ceremony, held on Monday, marked the culmination of the First Lady’s efforts to renovate and modernize the iconic structure, home to the revered Ga Traditional Council.
“I considered it my duty to serve my people,” the First Lady stated. “As a proud Ga woman and outgoing First Lady, I’m deeply fulfilled to have delivered this pivotal project.”
During the event, the First Lady introduced Mrs. Alma Naa Dzama Adade Prempeh, wife of the NPP Vice Presidential candidate, to the Council and the Ga State. She also expressed gratitude for their support throughout her nearly eight-year tenure.
The occasion also saw the First Lady’s enstoolment as Naa Awo Kpakpa Okaikor Olefeonii I, a significant honor.
This renovation underscores the First Lady’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and promoting development in Ghana.
