Forestry Commission Cracks Down on Galamsey Operations in Aowin Municipality

give me headline and do the necessary correction The forestry commission in Aowin municipality in the western north region, headed by Mr Joseph Appiah together with the forestry guards has arrested several people engaging in illegal mining popularly known as Galamsey in the 3 forest reserves in the Aowin municipality.

The reserves are Tano numiri forest, Tano Anwia and the Yɔɔyɔɔ forest reserves.

These galamseyers when impounded, has destroyed resources meant for a lot of things in Ghana.
Some of them at certain other places have destroyed a lot of trees that we had planted some years back.
The manager(Joe Appiah) has sworn that these illegalities will not be allowed in his territory.

Their equipment was seized and some of them were burnt at the full glare of the people .
Mr Appiah, has warned the general public who is having it in mind to do these illegal activities should abort this.
He has also urged the public to report all illegal activities.
