GoldBod CEO Sammy Gyamfi receives historic Suma Adinkra sword honour

The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi, has been honoured with the prestigious Suma Adinkra Sword by the Suma Traditional Council.

‎‎The Paramount Chief of the Suma Traditional Area, Odeneho Dr. Affram Brempong III, praised Mr Gyamfi for his strong leadership and the positive impact of his work at the Gold Board. He said the award was in recognition of his dedication to national development.

‎Sammy Gyamfi expressed gratitude for the honour and dedicated the award to his team at GoldBod. He encouraged them to continue working hard to support Ghana’s progress.

The Suma Adinkra Sword is a historic symbol of excellence and has been awarded to outstanding leaders for more than 470 years.

Past recipients include former Presidents John Agyekum Kufuor, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and John Dramani Mahama.
