21-year-old Suspect Arrested For Stabbing Fire Officer

The Ghana National Fire Service has verified the arrest of a 21-year-old individual for allegedly stabbing a fire officer who was responding to a fire outbreak at Adjiringano.

Azumah Sampson, identified as the suspect, was arrested by Fire Officers and handed over to the police.

The suspect is currently in police custody, assisting with investigations, as confirmed by the GNFS in a brief statement.

The victim sustained a stab wound on his left arm and was rushed to Unity Clinic at Madina.

Details surrounding the incident remain limited; however, the Service earlier reported that the perpetrator fled the scene after committing the heinous crime on Friday night.

It further promised a special reward for anyone who helped to find the suspect.
