Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has launched a new perfume specifically designed for dogs, called Fefé.
The fragrance was announced on Friday through the brand’s social media channels and is described as a tribute to co-founder Domenico Dolce’s beloved dog, Fefé.
According to a blog post by the brand, Fefé is an alcohol-free scent featuring delicate notes of Ylang Ylang, Musk, and Sandalwood.
The perfume is designed to enhance a dog’s grooming routine and is crafted for a “playful beauty routine.”
The perfume comes in a sleek green lacquered glass bottle adorned with a red metal cap and a 24-carat gold-plated paw.
It was designed by renowned perfumer Emilie Coppermann and is priced at €99 ($100) for a 100 mL (3.4 oz) bottle.
In addition to the perfume, customers can also purchase a D&G dog collar, available in two sizes, with an optional engraving tag.
The brand has also released a commercial for the perfume, featuring dogs posing on high stools during a photo shoot. For dogs that may not sit still for the perfume, the brand suggests spraying it on the owner’s hands or a brush and applying it to the dog’s fur.
Fefé is the latest luxury pet product to hit the market, catering to pet owners who spare no expense in pampering their furry friends.
