National Security Officers Assault Energy Ministry Staff

On Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Kasoa Amanfrom, unidentified individuals believed to be National Security members were caught assaulting a Ministry of Energy staff member.

The1957News on social media exclusively obtained footage of the incident. Three individuals on the bus, including the driver, were assaulted, and one staff member was dragged off the bus.

The current whereabouts of the taken staff member are unknown.

According to eyewitnesses, Energy Ministry staff were traveling from Kasoa to their office on an official bus when they encountered a pickup truck parked in the middle of the road.

Upon exiting onto the main road, a staff member notified the pickup driver of the improper parking. The pickup allegedly followed the bus at high speed and crossed it twice.

The video footage shows the pickup’s occupants, allegedly National Security officers, attacking Ministry staff through the bus window and subsequently forcing their way onto the bus to assault the occupants.
