The Adentan Circuit Court has granted bail to Evans Eshun, also known as Ebo Noah, in the amount of GH₵100,000 with two sureties, one of which must be secured with a landed property or a vehicle.
The case will resume on March 18, 2026, as confirmed by Emmanuel Sarfo, Ebo Noah’s lawyer.
Previously, Eshun, a 33-year-old private security guard, was remanded into police custody on January 2, 2026, and ordered to undergo a psychiatric examination at a government facility prior to his next court appearance.
Her Honour Angela Attachie made the order when he appeared before her, initially setting his reappearance for January 15, 2026.
According to the prosecution, Ebo Noah spread claims through social media videos published between August and December 2025 on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube under the handle @Ebonoah, stating that the world would be destroyed by a flood on December 25, 2025.
In the videos, he claimed to be building an ark to save people from the predicted disaster.
