Bonmatí and Dembélé Crowned FIFA’s Best in 2025

Spain’s Aitana Bonmatí made history by winning a third straight The Best FIFA Women’s Player award, while France’s Ousmane Dembélé was named The Best FIFA Men’s Player at a ceremony in Doha, Qatar.

Bonmatí earned the honour after another outstanding season with Barcelona and Spain, becoming the first woman to win the award three times in a row. She thanked players, coaches and fans for their support.

Dembélé was rewarded for a brilliant year with Paris Saint-Germain, helping the club win the Coupe de France, Ligue 1 and their first UEFA Champions League title. He dedicated the award to his team-mates, family and club
staff.

Sarina Wiegman was named The Best FIFA Women’s Coach after guiding England to a second consecutive UEFA Women’s EURO title, while Luis Enrique won The Best FIFA Men’s Coach for leading PSG’s remarkable season.

Chelsea and England goalkeeper Hannah Hampton claimed The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper award, and Italy’s Gianluigi Donnarumma was named The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper.
The FIFA Marta Award went to Lizbeth Ovallefor her acrobatic goal in Mexico, while Santiago Montiel won the FIFA Puskás Award for his stunning overhead kick in Argentina.
Fans of Zakho SC in Iraq received the FIFA Fan Award for their moving charity gesture, and Dr Andreas Harlass-Neuking was honoured with the FIFA Fair Play Award for saving a fan’s life.
Barcelona and PSG players dominated The Best FIFA Women’s 11 and Men’s 11selections, with Bonmatí and Dembélé both included among the year’s standout teams.
