Mario Balotelli has found a new home at 35, marking another significant chapter in his storied career. The former Italy international has agreed to join Saudi Arabian side Al Ittifaq, leaving behind his recent stint at Genoa.

This move to the Saudi Pro League signals a fresh challenge for the unpredictable yet highly skilled striker.

Known for his explosive talent and flair, Balotelli’s career has taken him across Europe, with stints at some of the most prestigious clubs in football history, including Inter Milan, Manchester City, and AC Milan.

Despite a somewhat nomadic career path, his legacy remains firmly intact, having won numerous major trophies at the highest level. The move to Al Ittifaq comes after his departure from Turkish club Adana Demirspor, where he enjoyed a solid spell in the Super Lig.

However, it is his earlier years that truly define his career. Balotelli was a key figure in Inter Milan’s 2010 UEFA Champions League-winning campaign under José Mourinho, helping the club secure a historic treble.

A year later, he would make headlines again, this time with Manchester City, as the fiery striker lifted the Premier League title in 2012.

His performances at both Inter Milan and City ensured his place among Europe’s elite strikers during the prime years of his career.
