Woman found dead with body parts missing at Tetegu Junction

A woman of unknown identity has been found dead at Tetegu Junction in the Weija Gbawe Municipality, with several body parts missing, leading to a police investigation.

The lifeless body was discovered early by residents, lying naked at the busy junction.

Witnesses reported that the woman’s left leg and private part had been removed, a disturbing discovery that shocked the community and attracted a crowd to the scene. Some residents suspect that the woman may have been killed elsewhere and later dumped at the junction to make the death appear like a road accident.

Others fear that the killing could be linked to ritual activities for financial gain, although this has not been confirmed. Police officers who arrived at the scene secured the area and conveyed the body to the police morgue for preservation and further examination.

The police have since launched an investigation to establish the woman’s identity, the cause of death, and the circumstances under which the body was left at the junction.
