Asante Kotoko Part Ways with Joseph Ablorh

Ghana Premier League powerhouse Asante Kotoko SC has formally severed ties with defender Joseph Ablorh, culminating in a premature conclusion to his tenure at the club following an unimpressive stint.
The 26-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors in June 2024 on a two-year contract, with the expectation that he would infuse the team with experience, energy, and athleticism. However, his performances fell short of expectations, leading to the decision to terminate his contract.
Kotoko confirmed the development in an official statement, announcing that the separation takes immediate effect. The club stated that the decision was made in the best interest of both parties as they continue preparations for the ongoing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
“Asante Kotoko SC and defender Joseph Ablorh have parted ways with immediate effect. The club has taken this decision in the best interest of the club,” the statement said.
The club also extended its best wishes to the player as he seeks to continue his career elsewhere, thanking him for his service during his brief tenure at the Kumasi-based side.
