Asante Kotoko Fined GHS 5,000 for Misconduct After FC Samartex Match

Asante Kotoko SC has been penalized with a GHS 5,000 fine by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee for misconduct exhibited during their Ghana Premier League match against FC Samartex 1996 on November 23, 2025. The club was found guilty of making unprofessional comments about the match officials post-game.
The match, which took place at the Nsenkyire Park, ended in a dramatic goalless draw; however, Asante Kotoko’s behavior following the final whistle raised concerns.
