“I’m winning the 2026 TGMAs Artiste of the Year” – Wendy Shay

Award-winning Ghanaian musician Wendy Shay has confidently set her sights on the top prize at the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

Speaking on stage after her performance at Medikal’s concert on December 13, 2025, the singer declared that the coming year belongs to her and announced her intention to win Artiste of the Year.

Wendy Shay described 2026 as a turning point in her career, stating that she is ready to dominate the music scene.

She further revealed plans to headline and fill the Accra Sports Stadium, signalling her ambition to take her career to the next level after years of consistent hits and strong performances.
