Bishop J.Y. Adu has revealed that gospel musician Yaw Sarpong has not yet been told about the death of his close partner, Maame Tiwaa, because his caretakers fear the news could harm his health.

He explained that Yaw Sarpong is still emotionally dependent on Tiwaa — even recently refusing to eat unless she was present — and the family is struggling to find the right moment to break the news.

According to Bishop Adu, they’ve kept him away from online reports and asked Tiwaa’s family not to inform him while he recovers from illness, worrying the shock could worsen his condition.
