John Peasah, a renowned actor famous for his role as Drogba in the hit TV series YOLO, has made a public plea, urging people to stop inviting him to church services.

In a recent Instagram post, Peasah, who has been battling a debilitating medical condition affecting his mobility, revealed that his inbox has been flooded with church invitations since attending a Christ Embassy Airport City Youth Church service in August 2024.

At the time, reports claimed that he had received instant spiritual healing during the Night Miracle Service led by Pastor Enoch Ofori Boamah. His sister even testified to a profound healing.

However, Peasah has clarified that the narrative was incorrect. A year later, he has explained that what he experienced was not an instant cure but progressive healing, a temporary improvement, not a miraculous recovery.

Since then, he says well-meaning but overwhelming invitations from various churches have poured in, and he is exhausted by the pressure.

“In the name of God, I humbly request that you please keep me away from any further invitations,” he wrote. “My DM is getting full. This isn’t about comparing power or influence — it’s about my well-being. I’ve been through a lot and want to avoid any more controversy.”

The ongoing speculation around his condition has also dealt a blow to his $280,000 fundraiser, which stalled after conflicting reports about.
