Black Sherif tops 2025 Spotify chart; smashes record on Apple Music Ghana

Black Sherif, a Ghanaian rapper and vocalist, has secured the top position in Ghana’s 2025 Spotify rankings.

He emerged as the Most Streamed Artiste of the Year and Top Artiste of the Year on Spotify’s charts.

His album “Iron Boy,” released in 2024, was named the Most Streamed Album of the Year, and his song “Sacrifice” from the same album became the Most Streamed Song on Spotify in 2025.

Also, nine of Black Sherif’s songs were among the top ten on Spotify’s Most Streamed songs list. Black Sherif’s success extended beyond Spotify to other streaming services.

The “Iron Boy” album by Black Sgerif took the top twelve spots on the Apple Music Ghana Top songs of 2025 chart, with “Sacrifice” emerging as the number one song.

This remarkable achievement makes him the first Ghanaian artist to secure all top twelve spots. His fans are urging that he be recognized as the TGMA Artiste of the Year, in light of his outstanding accomplishment.
