2Face and new wife, Natasha engage in altercation during Instagram Live
Nigerian music icon 2Baba, also known as 2Face, and his wife Natasha Osawaru, have been thrust into the spotlight following an altercation during a live Instagram session.
The couple engaged in a heated argument on Nigerian presenter Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live on Monday, December 1, initially intended to address an alleged arrest of 2Face in the UK. Daddy Freeze was conducting the session with 2Face’s former management when the singer joined in.
During the exchange, 2Face asked Natasha, ‘what is your problem?’
Natasha attempted to take the phone, and the couple shouted at each other before the session ended.
The couple’s argument on Instagram Live was captured and shared widely on social media, sparking mixed reactions from fans and netizens.
This comes after a video surfaced on social media showing 2face being arrested in the UK.
The footage showed officers speaking with the singer outside what appears to be a retail store before escorting him away with his hands cuffed behind his back.
While there had been doubts that the music legend was arrested, Kaka Igbokwe, a former manager of 2Face has confirmed that the singer was indeed arrested in London, UK following a heated altercation with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru.
2face travelled to the UK with his new wife for a concert tour, but failed to show up at a scheduled show on October 2, 2025.
His absence came amid rumours that he had been arrested after a fight with Natasha, who is also a lawmaker in Edo State House of Assembly, at the airport.
Kaka, who is the son of the late Nigerian music legend, Christy Essien-Igbokwe, confirmed the incident while making an appearance on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live session on the evening of December 1, 2025.
According to Kaka, “everything you heard about the couple’s face-off was true.”
Narrating how the altercation happened, Kaka who was part of the London team, and was on the same flight with them, said Natasha got upset when she felt 2face abandoned her after they landed at the airport and strolled away with fans who ushered him into a shop.
However, when the, “African Queen” crooner realised that Natasha was left behind, he hurriedly ran back to her as she lashed out at him, leading to his being arrested and handcuffed.
2Face traditionally tied the knot with Natasha Osawaru in a private ceremony in July 2025.
