Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay has boldly declared herself one of the richest artistes in the country, crediting her success to hard work and smart reinvestment in her craft.

In an interview on Daybreak Hitz on October 14, 2025, the “Survivor” hitmaker revealed that she operates without investors, funding all her music projects from her own earnings.

“When it comes to money, I have it. I can afford everything I want, and this job is capital intensive,” she said.

Wendy Shay added that music is a “goldmine” for those who take it seriously, emphasizing that her wealth is proof of the industry’s potential.

“There’s so much money in music, and we’re still trying to make people understand that. I’m certain I’m the richest,” she confidently stated.
