Offinsoman Queen Mother Gives Back to Community; Supports Orphans, Widows
The Offinso Traditional Council played host to a heartwarming ceremony as Offinsoman Hemaa Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III donated essential items and cash to the needy, care homes, orphans, and widows.
The gesture, carried out under the auspices of the Afranewaa III Foundation, aimed to bring hope and relief to vulnerable members of the community.
The donated items included, Big sizes of cooking oil, Dozens of toiletries, Bottles of carbonated drinks, Canned drinks, Bags of rice, Washing and bath soaps, Cartons of milk, thousands of cedis in cash and more
The beneficiaries were Awurade Beye Children Home and Widow Rehab Center at Amoawi and Kings and Queens Care Home at Asuoko all within the Offinso traditional council.
Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III explained that this act of kindness was part of the family’s tradition of goodwill towards humanity, tracing back to her uncle and the late Nana Wiafe Akenteng, a former paramount chief of Offinsoman.
“Give a hand to those who need a lift, and you’ll find the strength to stand tall in the storm,” she emphasized.
The Queen Mother urged philanthropists, benevolent givers, and well-meaning Ghanaians to prioritize the welfare of the needy, children with disabilities, and the homeless.
She also encouraged other chiefs and queen mothers to follow her example, highlighting the impact of kindness on individuals and society.
“A single act of kindness can spark a wave of compassion that touches countless lives,” she added.
The ceremony was attended by prominent traditional leaders, including the Chief of Offinso Amoawi, Nana Osei Asamoah Muronkom, and other sub-chiefs and queen mothers of the Offinso Traditional Council.
This noble gesture reflects Nana Adwoa Afranewaa III’s commitment to promoting the welfare of her people and upholding the values of kindness and compassion.
