2026 WCQ: Otto Addo set to unveil Black Stars squad for final qualifiers this week

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is anticipated to unveil his squad this week for Ghana’s pivotal final round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The four-time African champions, who currently top Group I with 19 points, will face the Central African Republic and Comoros in their last two fixtures. A win in either match would guarantee their spot at next year’s tournament in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Ghana will commence the campaign away to the Central African Republic at Al Abdi Stadium in El Jadida on Wednesday, October 8. The team is set to assemble in Accra before departing for Casablanca ahead of the encounter.
The Black Stars will wrap up their qualifying fixtures against Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 12.
In the wake of the disappointment of missing out on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Otto Addo and his technical team are under pressure to assemble a formidable squad and reclaim national pride by securing World Cup qualification.
