After the match, they’ll return to Accra for a recovery session on September 5, which will also be open to the media and public. Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew is among the first players to arrive in Ghana ahead of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Other Black Stars players spotted at the Kotoka International Airport include Antoine Semenyo, Joseph Tetteh Anang, Elisha Owusu, Jonas Adjetey, Gideon Mensah and Christopher Bonsu Baah.

Seven players will join other invited players at the Black Stars camp in Accra today for coach Otto Addo’s first training session. The Black Stars will then host Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 8.
