Fire outbreak at Accra Tourist Information Centre

The Accra Tourist Information Centre, located opposite Afrikiko in the heart of the capital, has been engulfed in flames.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, as the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) personnel work to bring the situation under control.
Reports from sources confirm that a fire occurred in the early hours of Monday, August 4, around 1:00 a.m.
Eyewitness accounts indicate that the flames may have originated from the kitchen area of Rockz Waakye, a popular food vendor operating within the premises.
No injuries or casualties have been reported thus far.
In a related development, a fire incident occurred at Madina Ritz Junction on Sunday, resulting in the destruction of over 50 wooden structures and metal containers and displacing numerous residents.
The fire reportedly began at a washing bay within the slum area. Firefighters from the Madina Fire Station responded promptly, working to contain the fire and prevent further spread.
Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
